Mars, 16 x 20 in, plaster, acrylic, and 3D printed model
Sometimes I’ll lock myself in my room for hours working on a piece of art. I’ll be snuggled in bed, eyes going raw from staring at the screen or my hands black with charcoal. Much of the artwork I do outside of school designing logos or designing websites involves figuring out how to communicate and what draws people in; a picture really does show a thousand words. I like working dichotomies into my pieces, sometimes changing reality and playing with the balance between order and chaos. I make art to lose myself in a project for days or even weeks, during which nothing else matters except for making my artwork the best it can be.
