What makes my art mine? My art is a window into my perspectives and experiences that only I have.Art gives me a voice. My work speaks by conveying the understated emotions of my subjects through the use of bold colors and values. I love using acrylics or pencil to show the nuanced emotions of a scene in my head. I intentionally crop my images to show a more interesting side of whatever I'm drawing or painting. Interpreting and understanding my experience being human gives me a reason to come back to it again and again
