I make art for one reason: simply because I like it. Art has always had a calming and freeing effect on my mind. The process allows me to fully express my creativity in a way permitted in other aspects of my life. Many of my works are digitally born, and I use applications and techniques such as Photoshop, photography, and digital drawings. Metalworking is a far more intuitive and relational technique that grants me immense satisfaction. As it offers me the experience of imagining a piece into reality. Usually there is no planning while I create, It just happens and I welcome the result. An example of this is when I strike a piece of silver on an anvil, and it swiftly transforms into a spoon. A theme I see in my work is nature. One reason for this is I spend my summers in the mountains of Vermont. Nature has always been a place where I can freely be myself.
